Steve Goreham

Please help us welcome Steve Goreham. Steve is an author, a researcher on environmental issues, and an independent columnist. He’s the Executive Director of the Climate Science Coalition of America, a non-political association of scientists, engineers, and citizens dedicated to informing Americans about the realities of climate science and energy economics. Goreham is the author of three books, including his latest, Outside the Green Box: Rethinking Sustainable Development.

William Adams

Head of Research



William Adams has been involved in the metals markets since 1986, and is the senior global base metals specialist at Metal Bulletin. Metal Bulletin’s aim is to provide a clear and focused understanding of the metals markets through fast expert online reporting and real-time metal prices and data.
William joined FastMarkets as Head of Research. FastMarkets became part of the Metal Bulletin Group in 2016. Before that William worked with Rudolf Wolff & Co Ltd, which was one of the founding members of the LME, where he gained broad insight into the metals markets having had experience in trading base metals, bullion and foreign exchange, being head of research, an account executive and Managing Director of the company’s Tokyo office between 1997 and 2000.

Mark Swenson
Vice President Business Development, Supply Chain Solutions
Ryder System, Inc.

Mark Swenson currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions and serves on Ryder’s Roundtable Board.   Prior to joining Ryder, Mark was a Principle at TMSI, a supply chain organization with over 1,100 associates worldwide.  Throughout Mark’s career, he has held various operations positions managing transportation and distribution networks.    Mark is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds an M.B.A. from Babson College Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Management from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst).

Evan F. Koenig

Senior Vice President

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas


Evan F. Koenig is a senior vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He also serves as the Bank’s principal monetary policy advisor. In that capacity he regularly attends meetings of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) with the Bank’s president, oversees preparations for FOMC and other policy meetings, and briefs the Bank’s president and directors on economic developments.

Koenig has been active in economic research for three decades. His recent efforts have focused on predicting and explaining movements in prices, output and employment, and on understanding monetary policy’s role in the economy. His articles have appeared in a variety of Dallas Fed publications and in such respected scholarly journals as The Quarterly Journal of Economics, The Review of Economics and Statistics, The Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, The International Journal of Central Banking, and The Journal of Public Economics.

Koenig earned a bachelor’s degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin, and a doctorate in economics from Harvard University. He joined the Dallas Fed in 1988 after teaching for several years at the University of Washington in Seattle. We are pleased to welcome him back to an ACC Meeting!
